<p style="text-align: justify;">(1) Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight is one of the most common problems today that leads to many health issues and concerns. Being overweight is not about your appearance but the many health risk you will have from being obese.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">(2) Avoid smoke and smoking. Smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke causes a lot of health problems for you. Infertility, cancer, lung disease and many other health issues have been associated with smoking and smoke, thus it is wise to heed the repeated warnings of smoking being dangerous to your health. If you are having difficulty in stopping the habit, seek help. There are a lot of programs and groups that can help you with your goals.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">(3) Pack some nuts. Have a handful of nuts to enjoy at work. If you are too busy to grab a snack at work, a handful of your favorite nuts can boost your energy and increase your productivity at work. We are going to look at some of these today. Many may seem to be a matter of common sense, but if you follow these you will be on your way to healthy living.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Drink plenty of water. It is suggested that we consume 8-10 glasses per day. This includes water that we get from foods and other drinks that we have. A good tip is to drink a glass before eating. Sometimes we are not actually hungry but are dehydrated.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. We all know that eating fresh fruits daily is advised. But did you know that it is best to eat them in between meals or before meals. If you eat them directly after a meal your body will store it away as unused energy.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3.	You should eat a protein with each of your meals. Some excellent sources of protein would include fish, beans, meat, protein bars and shakes. Your body needs these proteins so ensure that you are getting enough of them.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. There are some foods that are better avoided. These would include potatoes, white bread, instant oatmeal and french fries. The reason is that these are foods that that body breaks down quickly into sugar.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. Start a regular exercise program. If you are not in the habit of exercising start out slow and work your way up to something that is more strenuous. Choose something that you enjoy doing. If you enjoy the type of exercise your chances of continuing it over the long term increases. Over time you should work your way up to 3 to 5 times a week for 30 minutes or more. You will be surprised at the extra energy it will give you and the improvement in your mood. Try to incorporate some weight training in your schedule. This is an excellent way to naturally increase your metabolism.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6. Include raw vegetables into your daily diet. Nutritionists tell us that the darker the vegetable is the richer it is in nutrients. Concentrate on the ones that are dark green, dark purple and dark orange. This will give you the most benefits.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">7. You should eat smaller meals with snacks in between. Eating every two to three hours is optimal. This will help you to naturally increase your metabolism and that is essential to healthy weight control. Peanut butter on a cracker is a good example of snacks you should include. If you wait until you actually feel hungry it may be too late. This causes your body to go into a fasting state.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">8. Include fatty acids into the diet. Ground up flax seed is a good source to have with foods or cereals. It also gives you fiber.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">9. Eat foods that are high in fiber. These foods will help you control cholesterol levels as well as giving you the feeling of feeling fuller. Some examples of these types of foods would be whole grains, fibrous vegetables and legumes. You may also want to look at supplementation as there are some good ones out there. You would want to speak to your doctor before beginning any supplementation program.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Fast Food is the worst thing you can do.  Reserve it for special treats for your kids-no more than once a week.  The Dollar Menu is helpful, but there&#8217;s not a healthy thing on it, except unsweetened iced tea.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A far better alternative are salad bars in supermarkets, healthy sub sandwiches, trail mix and granola.  You&#8217;ll soon weigh 410 pounds if you continue to live on fast food, and your kids will suffer, as well.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For hot meals, you may want to go to various shelters or churches that provide that sort of thing on a weekly basis.  Sorry the advice must be so bitter.  Remember, this, too, shall pass.</p>

Recently, the head of McDonald&#8217;s, one of the restaurants cited in the responsibility for obesity, defended his restaurants saying that they were not responsible for the prevalence of obesity children.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I agree with him that no direct fault that there is a growing number of obese children and adults, but the sad truth is that here in the India is a combination of factors in our culture that promote obesity and will continue if we do not change our habits. According to statistics, obesity rates have tripled in just thirty years among adults. If this does not tell you that something is wrong, then I do not know what he does.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In response to pressure from consumer and health advocates, many fast food restaurants have meals delivered with lighter menu options and healthier choices for children to do their part by at least offers the possibility to be healthier. The rest is the client or the parents of children who eat there, and that is where the true education and enlightenment must come, which is a difficult thing control.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Wendy&#8217;s, a fast food chain of people, began to offer Mandarin as an expensive option that is much more healthier and less caloric than French fries or a load of potatoes. They also offer salad dressings light hand and a good menu of salads try low-fat taste buds each. In fact, Wendy&#8217;s has probably one of the best salad menus of any fast food chain popular right now in my opinion.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">They still have their burgers and fries stacked triple also for those who want a genuine experience of restoration Quick naughty but those watching their weight or are aware of their health in general now have decisions that are more pleasant than having been in the past.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">McDonald&#8217;s has also joined the movement of health offerings, and salads to choose from, but not as impressive nor as tasty Wendy&#8217;s, and instead of French fries as their only option for the sides, which is also offered fruit and nuts and divers perfect apple a favorite of children who are short of an apple caramel sauce low in fat.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">They even provided meals for active adults which include salads, bottled water and a pedometer and a health guide for free. A recent news where a man has lost significant weight eating at McDonald&#8217;s, no doubt fueled the popularity of diving and apple fruit and nuts perfect, that ate almost exclusively while on his diet.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I recently went to the unit through a local Taco Bell, and has even added a lighter menu in their offerings. The lighter menu offers some of the same traditional taco, burritos and tacos soft, they only have the cheese and load more vegetables, sauce and salad to a food low-fat and high in fiber and low in calories.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Metro is one of my favorite fast food places for a bite to eat healthfully controlling caloric intake. They offer a full range of submarines that are low in fat and 400 calories or less may be a bit more on some, but not much more than the mark of 400 calories, which is ideal for lunch or dinner, because it is calorie controlled.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Their services include by the high fiber bread is delicious, and lean meats like roast beef, turkey and ham. You must order without cheese, which I find to be a big problem since the cheese is very thin and does not taste much anyway.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Just ordered without cheese saves a hundred calories. They a wide selection of fresh vegetables to the battery because it does not even realize that you eat a healthy meal, low in fat. The options include spinach (my high fiber personal favorite of iron), cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, peppers, pickles and black olives (to be used sparingly, that are high in fat).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Add to this the fact that they have some great condiments that are free of fat and onion and honey mustard sauce, and you have a delicious low fat meals that you feel energized instead of lethargic, and keep you full longer than a burger and chips will be.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Burger King, McDonald&#8217;s former rival, also has menu options in good health. They offered a veggie burger made by Morningstar this is very tasty, however, if you want low-fat mayonnaise do not, which apply plenty unless you ask them to stay. Add tomatoes and lettuce booster and maybe a little mustard for some flavor, and you have a fatty burger substitute low. Hold the cheese, of course.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Burger King also offers a good list of salads and some low-fat dressings to accompany them, and for a minimum of foods rich in fat, protein rich in fiber such as chicken. There is also a grilled chicken sandwich, if ordered without mayonnaise is a much healthier option. However, unlike McDonald&#8217;s, which does not seem to have other healthy foods into a very interesting novelty, which means that probably the survival of their core audience to stop burgers and fries.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">And there you have it. This is a brief summary of some of the healthier choices offered by the most popular today&#8217;s fast-food restaurants here in the India. Hopefully we can start to see more healthy competition opened in the same neighborhoods, and at least we give a better chance of getting something that is healthy, but also interesting.</p>

<li>Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a term for a group of chronic lung conditions including emphysema and chronic bronchitis. The main cause of COPD is smoking, and it&#8217;s strongly associated with lung cancer, the No. 1 cause of cancer death in men.</li>
